Terrible and deceitful experience. Stay away!! Expensive, rude, and unhelpful.
We specifically asked if wetsuits were included and they said yes and not to rent one. We find out once we make it to Santa Fe that there’s no wetsuits on board and the guide didn’t care at all when I showed him the messages with 1835 Galapagos Inclusive that wetsuits are included (nor did he seem surprised that there weren’t any board which makes me think 1835 doesn’t really know what they are promising when booking trips)
After complaining to the office, they claimed that there were in fact wetsuits on board and refused any refund. They kept insisting that it was the boat operators responsibility and not theirs. They didn’t seem to understand that we had paid for something we didn’t receive.
The wetsuit may seem like a minor point but we got badly sunburned without them which also affected the rest of our trip in Galapagos.
There were plenty of other issues (rude guide, making us do a duplicate payment and not refunding the full amount, not responding to inquiries on vegetarian food options, etc).
For paying almost $200 a person, we expected a somewhat luxury experience. Totally the opposite.
We went with this service because it was official partner of our hotel (Blu Hotel). Wouldn’t recommend
